I didn't know I wanted a child with Down Syndrome until God gave me you.....Thank You God!!

Welcome!

This Blog is about one extra special little boy named Tanner who has Down Syndrome. It is also about the loss of his identical twin brother named Reagan, and the loss of his Daddy named Perry. We have known great sorrow but we also know and serve a great big God that carries us through these hard times. If you come across my page and you are a widow or widower, or a new parent or a family member of a child with Down Syndrome, please take some time to read my story of how God has brought us to where we are today. No life is not perfect for us and we still know sadness, but we have hope and happiness through Jesus Christ.

"Up Syndrome"

The Doctor who discovered Down Syndrome many years ago was Dr. John Langdon Down. I really wish that his name was Dr. Up so that today, Down Syndrome could be called "UP" Syndrome instead. Then maybe people would begin with a better attitude towards us as they start to understand what we are all about and what we are really capable of doing!!
